A list (in no particular order) of things I've learned I've learned (or relearned) in the last week.
- Nobody can ever replace your Granny, and it's a special kind of hurt when you know her days on earth are soon to be over.
- Having a loving relationship or friendship is not supposed to be filled with pain and constant turmoil....call it something else, but it's not love.
- Setting a goal for yourself, and having it take a whole hell of a lot longer to reach than you ever imagined it would, is worth every second of waiting.
- Having your roller derby teammates dog pile you when said goal is reached (see #3), is a once in a lifetime high I'll never forget.
- Reaching that goal with your Bestie....indescribable.
- Sometimes you don't realize people are toxic, until they aren't around anymore and suddenly everyone seems happier....that's not a coincidence.
- Change can be exhausting, but when you have a group with the same passion and vision as you, great things can and will happen with that change.
- My kids are more accepting and understanding of my relationship then I could ever have hoped for, but that's what happens when lesson #2 is a priority.
- Online/Droid games are addicting.
- I am a horrible cook, but my Granny taught me how to make delicious biscuits!
Supermarkets have been there. S population is uninsured of which is evident by the fact that customers needs and expectations are dynamic, not just personal japanese ambition.
